If you visit Ohealthy Market once, there’s a good chance that Kim Langille will greet you by name the next time you’re in.
Langille, who owns both the Dartmouth health food store and the Ohealthy Market in Truro, takes a genuine interest in her customers.
“I love the fact that the shop is in a real neighbourhood,” says Langille of the location at Queen Street and Victoria Road. “I love getting to know my neighbours and I love bringing food to where people are.”
Ohealthy Market offers local, organic produce as well as frozen fruits and vegetables, organic nuts and seeds, vitamins, natural products and aromatherapy products. Langille also describes it as a great source for sprouting supplies.
While its location may seem a little off the beaten bath, Langille says the close proximity to a busy naturopathic wellness centre makes it a kind of “wellness hub”.
“It really is the perfect location,” she says. “It’s urban and it’s green. I love it here.”
